As we sit in our lounge in the evening, cradled in the arms of the Hottentots Holland mountain range, overlooking the Helderberg basin, we watch the sunset linger in streaks of orange, peach and hues of pink. We are grateful for the wonderful country and city we live in.  We simply love South Africa.

Proudly South African

Many of our clients have relocated from different parts of the world to settle in South Africa and we are often asked what makes South Africa so great.  Here are some of our favourite things about South Africa.

  1. We have Madiba’s legacy, with a public holiday.

  2. We have the glorious tourist attractions that are on most people’s bucket lists and we have most of them right here on our doorstep.

  3. We can shop at the robot (aka traffic light). Be it for a newspaper, cellphone charger, sunglasses, beaded art work, toys or even a copy of the Big Issue.

  4. Our flag.  It is bright, it is colorful and it is ours. We love it.

Proudly South African 2

  1. We have incredible airports – in fact Cape Town International Airport ranked in the top 30 best airports in the world for 2015.

  2. Durban is one of the new 7 Wonder Cities of the world.

  3. Our food! South Africa is a taste sensation with biltong, koeksisters, mieliepap, crayfish, venison, Karoo lamb and ostrich.

  4. We’re pretty creative in our use of languages, yes we have a whopping 11 official languages.

  5. We have a beautiful national anthem consisting of no less than 5 of our official languages – Nkosi sikelel’ iAfrika. Bless Africa and all its people. Read more about our incredible National Anthem.

  6. Extreme should be in our middle name. Bloukrans is the highest commercial bungee jumping bridge in the world.

  7. We’re big 5 country. Enough said.

  8. We are blessed with sunshine and great weather for most of the year and lingering summer days and have the longest wine route in the world. Cheers to that!
